The lights that you see mounted on the back of vehicles are trailer lights. Contrary to an initial impression, they are just clones of lights. The difference and variation of these types of lights varies depending on your vehicle or trailer’s needs. Some shapes you might encounter are oval, round, and square. The one’s you choose will depend on the design of your vehicle or trailer. Consider the light beam angle as it will determine the light density. Some come with additional installation features that you must consider. The interior features will determine what illumination is needed.

Upgrading to recon lights, or to led lights will require you redoing the circuitry. Incandescent and led lights both have unique electrical requirements.
